Dr. Wear
Dr. Josh Wear was born and raised in Florence, Alabama. He is passionate about dentistry, and it has always been his dream to own his own practice. Dr. Wear graduated with Summa Cum Laude distinction with a bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences from Auburn University. After his graduation from Auburn, Dr. Wear attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. He and his wife, Reann, have 3 children— Joshua, Nora, and Ruthie. Josh is an active member in the community, and is very involved in his church. He attributes every success he has to the Lord. In his free time, you can find Josh playing with his kids, fishing, grilling, watching Auburn football, or playing card games. He strives to provide quality, painless care, and to treat each patient with compassion.
Dr. Hibbett
Dr. B. Kenneth Hibbett Jr. followed in the footsteps of his father, Dr. Barry K. Hibbett Sr., to continue a proud family legacy of dentistry in Florence, Alabama. Dr. Hibbett Sr. began the practice on Tennessee Street in 1964, later moving to its current home at 405 North Cedar in 1971. A graduate of Bradshaw High School, Dr. Hibbett Jr. earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Alabama and went on to attend Dental School at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His brother, Rob, has a dedicated laboratory in the office and fabricates all of our crowns. Dr. Hibbett married his wife, Cynthia, in 1982, and began practicing dentistry in 1989. Together, they have 3 children– Ann Catherine, Caroline, and Kenneth– and 8 grandchildren, who all remain local. Deeply rooted in the community, Dr. Hibbett and Cynthia can often be found cheering on their grandkids at ball games.
